Congratulations to Olathe South Baseball team as they recently claimed the 2024 KSHSAA Class 6A State Baseball Championship! The Falcons finished the season 16-13 and entered the state tournament as the overall #8 seed. The Falcons face Sunflower League team in each of their quarterfinal and semi-final games. Olathe South defeated Olathe West in the quarterfinals 3-1 and then Lawrence Free State in the semi-finals 9-0. The Falcons faced Blue Valley West in the championship game. Blue Valley West entered the championship as the two time defending state champions. The Falcons defeated the Blue Valley West Jaguars 10-2. Congratulations to Olathe South!
