The Sunflower League recently had 5 girls teams and 5 boys teams compete at the KSHSAA Class 6A State Bowling Tournament. The Tournament was held in Wichita at Northrock Lanes on Friday, March 3rd. Sunflower League schools accounted for 10 of the 18 schools that are able to advance to state. As individuals our Sunflower League bowlers claimed 11 medals on the girls side and another 11 medals on the boys side, totaling 22 of 40 medals awarded. Our teams also accounted for two state trophies and one individual state champion!
