Congratulations to the Shawnee Mission East Lancers Girls Tennis team as they recently claimed the 2023 KSHSAA Class 6A Girls Tennis State Championship! This marks the 5th consecutive state championship by the Lancers.
The Sunflower League had five schools qualify and compete at the the State Championship meet including:
Shawnee Mission East – 1st Place
Olathe Northwest – 3rd Place
Mill Valley – 5th Place (tie)
Lawrence Free State – 7th Place
Olathe West – 9th Place
